The entire hot dog thing is just "theater". The intention of denying competitive or non-competitive hot dog sales is a demonstration of power. Board wants owners to come to it--hat and hand--to ask permission to plant a flower!
If I wanted to sell hot dogs from my property, I would sell hot dogs from my property as long as my business was permitted by the health dept. Remember, a county land modification has already been finagled by Kay c Ntwerk and D Brnd with the county to allow commercial business on residential property.
Do what the Board does! Just say "S u e Me!" The judge would laugh GargleKnees out of the courtroom for bringing a complaint about county-permitted hot dog sales from private property! This would be just one more example of S-bag wasting owner assessment monies for its ego and losing yet another lawsuit. SLohA has a Very Bad Habit of losing lawsuits (separate thread on this subject pulled from the county records).

Administrator, you brought to light once again the costliness to S-bag owners brought about by Stmbug Ixx. Inc Management Company. Would you; could you post the cost to owners that has evolved since this management company took over. Our fees keep going up and I for one want to know why. Include legal fees; added insurance fees; cost of paying the management company annually; cost of flying in Board members for the HUD suit; cost of additional pay to the representative from Stmbug Ixx for appearing at legal trials; legal costs for two attempts on revitalization that were had shoddy legal advise; cost of resurfacing our streets, etc. Why are we paying so much legal fees still?

Unfortunately, I think an actual cost is available only within a legal discovery process. There are many many undisclosed costs related to legal activities "hidden" in other accounts.
Management also uses a credit card with indecipherable notations as to costs charged to SLohA credit card. Could be total fiction since Management company inputs the notation according to their preference and agenda.
The best estimate is probably by adding up the 2 lines of the legal expense line items. Things like travel for "secret meetings" and lunches and such get expensed under various other line items and are invisible.
Add to this that owners are not even permitted to see the "chart of accounts". The only thing owners see is a derived report generated by Management company on their own proprietary software 'TOPS'. It could be fiction for all we know. We do not even get to have an audit by different auditors; it's always the same one and has never varied since I bought here in 2010.
