Is Management/Security still monitoring SLR's Security Cameras? I would think one of our cameras would have filmed the the gas pump incident.. Just Curious.. Cheers

THIS MORNING ABOUT 4:00 AM I AWOKE TO BEGIN WATERING MY LAWN. I SAW A LARGE DARK GRAY DOG BUILT LIKE A GREYHOUND WANDERING AROUND ON SILVERSIDES NEAR SILVER DOCTOR. THE FULL GROWN DOG WAS APPROACHING A GARBAGE STUMP APPARENTLY LOOKING FOR FOOD. IT WAS NOT AGGRESSIVE, BUT DID NOT RUN WHEN IT SPOTTED ME. AFTER ABOUT 5 MINUTES THE DOG TURNED AROUND AND WENT BACK TOWARDS THE CLUBHOUSE.
ANYONE ELSE SEEN THIS DOG ON THE PREMISES?

Yes I have been trying to catch this nice dog, he is lost and scared. he may be a drop off and drive off. no tags or collar. I cant get close to lure him with some chow and gain his trust. I will keep trying, he is harmless and doesn't display any aggressive behavior and I think he can be leashed up.
I hate to see a good animal go to the pound or worse.

A loose dog running around in here isn't really anything to yell about; what should be getting residents extremely angry is the fact that the manager isn't doing a damn thing about it, like calling animal control. She ignores the feral cat issue and also loose dog issues in this park, but then calls animal control when a resident's dog barked at an employee for 15-20 seconds and proceeds to not only provide false info to animal control officer about the resident(s) and their dog, but also about the incident itself, to which she was not even a witness to.
Once again manager isn't doing her job, and doesn't care to, rather she used the incident and over sensationalized it in an effort to vilify a resident and their pet and to put out her lies to our community. This owner's dog NEVER touched this employee, but the manager used the incident and her position to put out false info to the community in an effort to damage the owner's reputation and that of their pet.
And, just as with the owner that took it upon themselves to take care of a few feral cats, I guess another owner is going to have to do her job for her once again.

0638hrs security van runs stop sign @ ST & STS 0648hrs security van west bound runs stop sign from STN on to ST It seems to me that the bod needs to clean their own house before trying to clean someone else's in regards to traffic problems of speeding and stopping at the signs.
How many times have we seen bod members, security, employees and IT speed along and ignore the signs this past year alone?! I've been here all summer and have been watching. Once they (bod and other staff) start obeying the traffic rules, MAYBE (that's a huge MAYBE) I will too.

Make that "19"--the SHADOW + 19.
And speaking of that, this morning, while not particularly watching for anything or anybody while walking my doggie, I noticed my neighbor's shed door WIDE OPEN. This home is also FOR SALE and all neatly buttoned up. It is obviously unoccupied with a big FOR SALE arrow out front and For Sale Poster on the front door. Needless to say, I was concerned.
The first thing I did (at 8am) was call the owner to report the condition. The owner was unaware of it and indicated that they would check it out.
The second thing I did was to call Security and asked if this had been reported. It had not. I advised Security that I had already alerted the owner. Security said they would also come over and "check it out". I remarked, half-jokingly, that "I didn't want to get anybody into any trouble but I was very concerned about my safety and monitored my neighborhood for irregularities under the 'good neighbor' policy". The troubling aspect is that this home is on a circle corner and the shed is plainly visible from both streets coming and going around the curve. It is almost IMPOSSIBLE not to see it! It is troubling because it was not seen by Security Patrol, and owners are paying for "security patrol" and must endure those damn spotlights aimed at owners' windows.
It is extremely troubling that the BOARD does not listen or pay attention to the "real" problems on the property.
From the UNOFFICIAL MINUTES of the Board Meeting 10/22/20-14 Owner's Comments (which we are told don't even have to be acknowledged in the Official Minutes):
Perhaps I misunderstand the nature or mission of SLR "security patrol". But, I don't misunderstand the implications of "FREE GATE PASSES TO WORKERS" in unmarked vehicles with free and open access--24/7--to park property.

KCnetwork gets a Free Pass on most things, why not Gate Passes... I do believe more Vendor Gate Passes, will be distributed in the near future. Heck, we have the C.E.O. of the Management Company is allowed to sign SLohA's checks, a Vendor gate pass is a minor issue to our leaders. They do not Care !
