As an observer, I've noticed something about Back... She appears to be somewhat narcissistic regarding the lack of intelligence on other people's part, which of course, allows her to live in a narcissistic entitlement of the one who is gifted beyond others. Everything is said with a blinding "authority". With this comes the diagnosis of a personality disorder. Is it Narcissistic Personality Disorder, Anti-social Personality Disorder, Combative Personality Disorder, Borderline Personality Disorder or a whole host of aggrandizement disorders. Back, try deep breathing, relaxation, you do not have to run the world as you see fit. You are just a cog in the wheel, we all are and we all are always trying our best, but apparently you do not believe as the rest of the world. You have a blown up idea of how important you are. I would imagine you to be an exclusive Right Winger, who feels if you don't wag the flag, you are a traitor and you would die before they pry the gun out of your hand. Just like the rest of us, you need to validate your points without the caustic remarks and use A leads to B logic. You sure gotta love the LA KINGS ! One thing known to just about everyone except "unknown": You don't know a damn thing about S.T.

Wrapping bundles of Ballots with rubber bands and placing them in a Front Office Locked File Cabinet, those Ballots are simply not secure. How hard is it to open a locked office 4 drawer file cabinet. Believe me not very hard. Dick T.

Ballots and elections, at this point, have about as much credibility as MANBOD, which is to say--little. No one is blaming the Election Committee; they are as caught up in these bad election practices and habits as the Board. So far, no Election Chairman--a BOD--has fixed the flawed system that has corrupted SLohA balloting and elections thus causing the breakdown of confidence by owners in the process. It is not up to the Election Committee to fix election practices any more than it is up to the Rulebook Committee to fix the flawed Redbook. BOD is responsible.
Ballots are NEVER supposed to be beyond the control or outside the possession of the Election Committee members. PERIOD. This means that ONLY Committee members--not the BOD Committee chairman, not a BOD, not the MANGE-not the Security Force--No other person besides an Election Committee person is to touch these ballots from the moment they are placed in a secured receptacle by Owners until the Annual Member Meeting.
I have heard all sorts of stupid excuses why this is not done just like excuses as to what happened to the Director Voting Districts in the Bylaws and how did the two-envelope system come to replace the Election Procedure in our Bylaws? People who ignore our governing documents and make idiot excuses why they have to do it another way have no business on the Board. Any election result in SLohA could be cH allenged by any member and the State would come in and monitor the next election.
Or, as the Board has suggested, SLohA could go to internet balloting. Except there is nothing in the Bylaws to permit this and it eliminates the possibility of ballot tampering. But, heck, why bother with changing the Bylaws to permit internet ballots? And why would MANBOD want to voluntarily lose all control of ballots? I am sure there will be lots of excuses why SLohA can't do that.

There's a lot of frustation and sarcasm lately and maybe some comments that seem "overstated". But, if there are other "New Guests" who are frustrated with what might appear to be illogical propositions about why something happens--like the Tennis Club NOT supporting the budget vote and therefore, not getting repairs for the surface destruction by MANBOD--then better questions need to be asked rather than just wallowing in anger and frustration. The Fact is that this is the "perception" about the poor quality of treatment of owners is currently in SLR and "Perception is Reality" to the person(s) expressing those thoughts. Better questions will lead to a more productive conversation if they were concerned about the evolution and maintenance of the negative (and perhaps unreasonable) perception ie "Why is there a perception that owners are being retaliated against by MANBOD for not accepting MANBOD's behavior?" Here's a few more common perceptions " Why does MANBOD ignore the fact that FOUR people have fallen into the lake from around the new dock in as many months--then publicly promise to install safety ladders at a KK--and then not only fail to do so but spend thousands of dollars on duplicate poSt age costs harassing only United States-owners about the garbage receptacles?" and "Why does MANBOD hold adequate lighting in the Annex parking lot hoSt age to passage of the budget when this is a critical safety issue for the protection of both SLohA the corporation and its elderly residents?" and "Why do owners express so much anger to a MANBOD that shouts at them to "shut up and move out" when expressing an opinion at a Board meeting and a BOD that refuses to answer its own correspondence written the owners who elected them?" and "Why does BOD refuse to answer a reasonable and direct written question about lawsuits when OWNERS are paying for these lawsuits which the BOARD is provoking by its actions?" The general perception that results is MANBOD LIES constantly and does not exercise its fiduciary duty to protect the owner's rights. Is that such an unreasonable perception from the above propositions? MANBOD needs to lose the attitude and ask harder questions about its role in why people express these thoughts. MANBOD might like to think--and might like others to believe--that there are only 10 people who are thinking these things, but they are very wrong about how widespread the discontent is in SLR with this abusive management company and the Board's absolute allegiance to it rather than to the owners. You know the facts. You're posts are the absolute truth! I love LA KINGS! You make people like me look stoopid and its because I am!

This is why owners who bring up good questions which deserve answers and/or quote facts at meetings are told to: "sit down/shut up/move out".

Heard from the owners of 66 Silversides that there is a court summons trying to be served on them for BREACH OF CONTRACT, by SLohA. Amazing that everyone else knows their business before they do. Good going manbod. Talk about unethical behavior and breach of trust. Maybe a summons should be served on you for libelous slander and BREACH OF BOARD ETHICS. Wonder what your attorney will be saying about this in your "privileged" meeting on Wednesday?

My wonder is what will the informed community think when it learns that manbod profits win or lose from these types of legal actions? I think the community will be shocked to see manbods "dirty laundry" out in the streets. Certainly some news coverage and even a call to local talk radio could put a management company in a bad light.

Seriously? How is it known that a summons is being attempted? Note on the door? Pool gossip? Sheriff parked in front of 66? TH doing a stumbling Happy Dance?
Is it possible that SLohA's MANBOD can be this stupid? If true, can you say "Countersuit"? ACLU? $100K in legal fees?
I will go look up in the county record and see if anything is filed...be right back

Declaratory Relief
A binding judgment from a court defining the legal relationship between parties and their rights in the matter before the court. A declaratory judgment does not provide for any enforcement, however. In other words, it states the court's authoritative opinion regarding the exact nature of the legal matter without requiring the parties to do anything.
Injunctive Relief
Injunctive relief consists of a court order called an injunction, requiring an individual to do or not do a specific action. It is an extraordinary remedy that courts utilize in special cases where preservation of the status quo or taking some specific action is required in order to prevent possible injustice.
