Another Sewer Flow Assessment contract? I thought we did this about 2 years ago with cameras and stuff.
Why is travel reimbursement considered a legit expense for owners? BOD is causing the legal disputes with flames of discontent fanned by Management and their cadre of hungry attorneys. Most, if not all hearings, can be done by teleconference-including the upcoming hearing with the DEO on August 11th. Why does SLohA BOD think it is beneficial to owners to pay airfares and land transport and other costs for owners to caravan to hearing sites? I do not think owners want to pay the tab for SLohA's attorneys representing BOD's and Owner's legal costs against Board-instigated confrontations between owners at meetings, owners dog's etc... I don't think owners want to pay Polk County Sheriff to attend BOD meetings because the BOD can't handle its own business in an orderly, civilized fashion.
There is a very costly pattern being started. If owners want to S u e other owners (including disgruntled BOD's), they should get their own attorneys and pay for witness costs out of their own pocket! Otherwise, I think the BOD will start getting opposing Owners' attorneys costs sent to SLohA!
