Managers' Report August 15, 2016
Hello and good morning everyone, I hope you all had a great weekend!
The pool and spa are some of the premier amenities for S-bag Lake Resort. In order to ensure I can actively contribute in problem solving when issues arise and proactively help with upkeep for the pool and spa, last Friday I attended a class and took the exam to become a certified pool operator. This is the same class the maintenance staff must pass to handle the chemicals necessary to maintain the pool. While I feel the staff does a great job in maintaining the pool and spa as your Resort Manager I must be able to understand what is causing the problem when an issue does arise. The class was paid for by Stmbug Ixx inc.
Last week maintenance worked on clearing some of the lower lying branches around the clubhouse and post office. This helps provide better lighting for the area and ensures safety and appearance.
The flow meters for the sewer system arrived last week and central Elctc will be out to install them this week. Jhn and Rikki will be working along with them to learn how to operate the meters over the 2 month duration they will be installed.
Maintenance and I would like to ask that owners making any requests for work, to make those requests at the front office. Many owners have gotten into the habit of going straight to Jhn C. and while one owner talking to Jhn for 10 minutes is no big deal, more frequently what happens is throughout the day he may get stopped 5-10 times. If each person takes 10 minutes of Jhn's time, that is nearly 1-2 hours of time he has lost to get his work completed.
Thank you and have a Great week!
