Manager: says he doesn't know about it and if you can't catch them in the act you can't do anything,
Owner: How high with this land use modification can St aib raise the towers on his property?
D: said it was exempt.
Owner: I didn't ask that. I asked with the land use modification, how high can he raise it next to his neighbors?
D: I'm not sure....(can't hear end of sentence)
Owner: I will be glad to sit down with my neighbors after this is over and talk about the Appeal. My neighbors include the Board of Directors.
Owner: I must have missed something. You said anything under 50' is exempt. Does the land use modification permit those limits to go higher?
D: There are 4 towers that will be permitted to be raised. There is one other at the beach location for future use and right now there is no plan.
Owner: So if those towers can be raised more than 50', is there some rule about guy wires?
D: There are limitations from the county on the FALL ZONE of each tower; ie if the tower falls it has to miss a resident's home by so much. For example, if a home is 100' from a tower, the tower can't be any higher than 90'. The tower height has to be a lesser distance than the fall height.
Owner: That is ONLY if it is over 50'?
D: Yes

D: I just want to bring this up again. This is a land use modification that we are pursuing, that has been approved by the Land Commissioners. It is now before the County Commissioners; that is what the appeal process goes through. I think They are very very mistaken in what this is—this is not a zoning situation—we are not rezoning anything. It is a land use modification only. People better start understanding that. There are some people that JUST REFUSE to understand that.
Gary's letter was also sent to the Chug forum. Bb St aib stated that he would post almost anything like 99% on the forum. However, one stipulation was that it be signed by the person who sent it. This was sent by a 3rd party and we can't post something sent with somebody else's name on it so therefore it did not get posted on the website.
Last time I talked to Gary skeeverse, I explained to him where he was going wrong and he was shown in black and white that he was wrong. He refused to listen to me and he wanted nothing to do with it. And if I wanted to talk to him, I could call and make an appointment. I can tell you right now that isn't going to happen. I like him as a person I appreciate the good things you do for the resort and the people but I don't like what you stand for and I think that you are costing your neighbors and friends a lot of money that they don't have to spend. If you want it takes a lot of ____to be respected and right now yours is not good. If you want to believe the lies....(can't hear)..and be led around by the nose year round. I won't let you or anyone else control my emotions.
skeeverse: Here is an interesting letter; makes an invitation to all to read letter; it is from "Them" -I guess they are a "They" now--we have the 'thems' and the 'theys'. Back in 2004-5 we worked with our neighbors. Recently, there has been material left on my porch. As I was being a good neighbor on hurricane watch to try to hand out papers that were necessary--it was nasty. The reception like that while trying to help in case of an emergency. I have been involved in risking my personal safety for others many times over the years. The thing that I am pushing for--and that is one thing this board will not address-- is that this Land Use Modification be approved by the homeowners-- no more and no less. This movement in the summertime when most of the people are not here reminds me of the stumps previously and the stumps have still not painted. This is done so our northern neighbors are not involved . This should be carried forward until the owners return. At this point in time, it is my name on the appeal. If an agreement could be made I could withdraw the appeal at any time and They would not be involved. Yes I am getting support from They. I am getting support from a lot of other homeowners too. On CAP, I was stopped by a homeowner who thanked me for what was happening. So, if you think that I don't have friends or have not been making friends because of this you are sadly mistaken.

Thinking someone was disrepecting Gary, I looked in the direction of the disruption and prepared to give my best stinkeye. Seeing the troublemakers--Teary Hayvn, his woman and Brc Blch--all looking directly at me and grinning and exchanging mansecrets, I decided to go for the unexpected. I believed they were trying to get me wound up. I shot back my most winning smile and gave a little wave in their direction thinking that would calm their boyish misbehavior. They continued to "engage" me so I blew them a kiss! The reaction was priceless! Teary Hayvn very shortly got up and ran away like a little girl.)

As an engineer, I know that there are 3 parts to communications: “what I said”, "what I meant to say" and "what you thought you heard me say” and if you communicate what you heard….the premise comes out for a improvement. Right now the homeowners, in my opinion, should be involved. Why they should Not be involved is a question which has not been answered.
