                                    Board Meeting Minutes, February 15, 2017
                                            9:00 A.M., SLR Clubhouse

            DRAFT – Pending approval, SLohA Board of Directors

Directors present: Tummy Blkbrn, Clf Jnsn, leery listerine, T Roof, Chrls Schlz, Frns Sm all, Dyeann Will i am son, Jade Rite. Also in attendance were Chap Mc Click, SLR manager, and Toneesha Shrodr, Stmbug Ixx Management.

The meeting was called to order at 9:00 A.M. by President leery listerine. Clf Jnsn gave the invocation which was followed by the Pledge of Allegiance. The board approved the January 18, 2017, regular meeting minutes. The agenda was approved with one addition, under old business, a report from Nunsee DerRandy and Jhn GodWyn concerning WiFi usage in the clubhouse and Memorial H all.

Chap Mc Click, President leery listerine, and Secretary Tummy Blkbrn, gave reports, which will be incorporated into the official minutes and posted on the SLohA website, www.slresort.net and official bulletin boards within the resort.

Ed Shroyer, 90 S-bag Trail, signed up before the meeting to speak about his correspondence to the board regarding a proposal to add a floating dock at the existing boat ramp located at the edge of Memorial Garden that would make launching and loading a boat safer and easier than the present ramp.

Treasurer Dyeann Will i am son gave a report. The latest financial statement wasn’t available to review but Toneesha Shrodr said it would be completed later in the day. Clf Jnsn made a motion to accept the treasurer’s report as given, seconded by Jade Rite and approved unanimously.

On the agenda under Committees, the following action was taken:

leery listerine made a motion that the slate of appointees to the standing Bingo Committee be approved as presented, to serve until revised or this committee is disbanded by approval of the board of directors. Tummy Blkbrn seconded the motion and it was approved unanimously.

T Roof made a motion that the slate of appointees to the standing Election Committee be approved as presented, to serve until revised or until this committee is disbanded. Vice President Jade Rite said with her term as director soon to expire that she’d volunteer to serve on the Election Committee again. Dyeann Will i am son seconded the motion and it was approved unanimously.

Chrls Schlz made a motion to submit the owners who have volunteered to be on the Governing Documents Committee to be considered by the board. Frns Sm all seconded the motion. leery listerine asked Chrls if the motion could be amended to add the phrase “to serve until revised or this committee is disbanded by approval of the board of directors”. Chrls agreed to the change. leery made the amended motion, Frns seconded and following discussion the motion was approved unanimously.

Under old business, Nunsee DerRandy and Jhn GodWyn reported on their research into the use of WiFi internet service in the clubhouse, Memorial H all, and under the clubhouse canopy in the swimming pool area. No additional locations within the resort are suitable for common area WiFi usage. Two extra routers have been installed in Memorial H all by KCNet internet vendor.

With no further business on the agenda, the meeting was open for owner comments. Owner comments are presented by name, address, subject.

· Nola Morgan, 2 Night Owl, curbing close to street/right of way
· T Roof, director, follow up on SLohA committee structure

With no further comments or business for the board, the meeting was adjourned at 10:30 A.M. Respectfully submitted,
