2017 FEB President's Message

                                                         President’s Remarks 2/18/2017

This morning at the Annual SLohA Membership meeting, I was returned by the election results to serve on the Board of Directors and asked by the new Board to serve again as President of the Board. I feel honored that the membership and my fellow directors have shown me their confidence by returning me to this office.

I would like to thank all the candidates who agreed to let their names stand for election. We will always need members to step forward to take on the responsibilities that allow our resort to conduct the daily business and make the plans and decisions required to will allow S-bag to survive and adapt. It is to be hoped that new owners will continue this tradition of service.

I am looking forward to continuing to work with the team that made up last year’s Board and welcome Nunsee DerRandy, Jhn GodWyn and David Dunk Key to the team.

I have found great satisfaction during the past year in getting to meet so many of you, the owners, and working with the rest of the Directors and Staff to find solutions to the problems that needed solving. We have seen the realization of some of our goals and we have begun or continued several of the initiatives which we hope to advance in the year ahead.

I have made my share of mistakes during the past year and I have learned a great deal about the operation of the resort. I have come to a greater understanding of the roles of so may who contribute to the smooth running and ongoing management of S-bag.
