Due to the fact that the Owner of SNAP (myself) is no longer living in the park and many of its active participants, especially those extending help to other neighbors through Angel's Grace, are also gone, I opted to forgo renewing SNAP with the state.
Paypal donations will no longer be received but I Hayvn't figured out how to remove the button yet.
I want to thank all those who actively contributed to SNAP and especially to Jm Grnt, my co-director and Angel's Grace main Helper Guy, Gngr and Lra, who identified needs and coordinated the Helpers, and Jm Ath, who led the Homestead Filing arm of SNAP. Not to be forgotten are the money contributors and those who donated time and materials for various efforts. YOU embody the true spirit of neighborliness in S-bag!

Alas...a couple of helpful things in S-bag must go away.
Unfortunately, it's because there is evidently no one left in S-bag to take over your fine programs.
Are there any statistics with regard to the number of folks helped & in what particular ways?
Just curious...

The SNAP Board pretty much says it all. I think SNAP more than accomplished it modest mission.
The last year has been quiet because the people who were doing the work of SNAP expended most of their energy on the board's lawsuit against them and efforts to intimidate them and make life miserable to get them to move out of the park.
The Board highly resented the presence of a champion of the little people and that an attorney was on SNAP's board and on my speed dial.
But that is not the reason that SNAP is no longer active. Like SLohA, which permitted its corporate filing to go inactive by failing to file annual reports, it is quite easy to reactivate a dormant corporation by paying the fee and filing the report. (That was totally different than SLohA allowing the Covenants to expire. Apples/Oranges)
