President’s Message June 21, 2017
Good morning everyone and welcome to our June Board Meeting. As you know, the Board did not feel it necessary to meet in May but over the course of the past two months lots has been going on in the resort. Those of you who are still in the resort will have witnessed the maintenance and improvements that have been going on within the resort.
I am pleased to report that there have been no issues that have surfaced which have required the immediate attention of the Board.
We were alerted to the problem that the trash truck created when it leaked fluid all over the resort but we are confident that Chap has that situation well in hand.
Toneesha has kept Board members updated on the appeal process which has been filed against the approval of the revitalization of our Covenants. Our attorneys have been monitoring this case and will be filing a brief on behalf of SLohA as this appeal works its way through the legal system.
We are gratified that we have a reliable staff who continue to faithfully execute the duties required to keep S-bag running smoothly even when many of our Directors are away from the resort. Chap and Toneesha continue to communicate regularly with those of us on the Board and consult with us on decisions that require our input. As you have heard from Chap’s report, Chap and Ray have been tending to upgrades and improvements as they arise. There are several approvals required today in order to allow these actions to continue. As Board members it is reassuring to know that we can place such confidence in our management and staff.
