Although I am far away, I am glued to CNN watching the news of Irma. They say there are no "better" scenarios--they are ALL devastating.
I am hoping for the best for the Bag, and also hoping that everyone is preparing for the worst and leaving the path of the storm for calmer waters. S-bag housing is not safe to stay in. There are known and unique dangers, including carports, huge elderly trees and towers in sections near homes-not to mention the many homes that are only a few feet above lake elevation and flooded, debris-littered roads. Shelters will not be comfortable.
Since I came to Florida in 1974, I have experienced many storms but after Andrew in Miami, I will never stay again in place. I have seen friends traumatized emotionally for years after a bad storm, such as the ones that all but destroyed Miami and Punta Gorda. Even today, people still talk about the storms that affected S-bag. These were minor storms compared to Irma.
Please do not underestimate this storm! Stay Safe! Vibes to my special friends!

Duck Engerny is a Joke. I have not seen any vehicles with a Duck Engerny logo in East Polk in the last 5 days.
