Someone in the know told me, the reason for the push for tile in the Annex Bldg, was because the floor has hair line cracks, and Our leaders want to get them covered. But we all know, that is what Concrete does if it has a poor none compacted base. This Info was not from the horses mouth, but from the inside stable guy. ;-)

I have had tile placed in two "newly-constructed" homes. I was told by both contractors that the concrete subfloor needs time to settle--ie expand and contract. If the base is not settled and still trying to find its happy place, the tile will crack.
I hope this will not be another exercise in "Git 'r done--twice!"
