Capacity is around 200+ "with tables" and 400+ "with chairs". Never heard of capacities stated this way before but live 'n learn!
I was talking "out my a** when I guestimated 300. Sorry if my "guess" read like a fact.

As of 4 pm today, the 12/3/13 board meeting minutes and mrg. repts. were posted at the post office bulletin boards and they talk a bit about the bingo situation; ya'll peeps might want to mosey on down and take a look; evidently, the bingo signs were not $7,924, but actually $79.24, a misprint apparently...yeah, right. Also, dbag talks about why everyone should go to the mtg on 12/10/13 because it talks about the costs to all owners regarding the internet and it being "$15/month or less."
Go and read it up there...

From the Minutes of Dec 5 BOD Workshop:(Editor: Anyone know the whereabouts of the annual detailed accounting of the Bingo funds? Has anyone ever see it?) And, as of the 09/30/13 financials, the balances in the Bingo accounts were:
$5465.51 in Bingo Checking
$1550 in Petty Cash Bingo
Maybe a charitable donation was made from Checking. |

If anyone's got a minute, could we get an update on the Bingo situation? Was wondering if they held Bingo last Friday and is everything/ everyone on the up-and-up here?

Yes, Bingo was held last Friday,Dec.20. Bingo is in need of callers. The regular callers are out of town, I do believe.
The Grape-Vine says Bingo had Fl.Officials visit SLR. So I would assume the Bingo Chairperson is now familiar with the Fl.Gambling Statues. K-B

So at the meeting this morning, it was learned that the Bingo committee did in fact go against Florida gambling regulations by donating money to SLR. The committee now must give the money that was spent on TVs, Clubhouse door and cameras to a charity.
