They're here to execute our Reserves for Fiscal Year 2014-15! Here's the Execution Plan: Before Management Co. came to SLR and when a budget was proposed people were asked if they had ideas on how to trim any wasteful spending and there were always suggestions and did help a little . I cant recall any such question being asked in the past few years but spending is out of control in here now . Never before have I seen all these contractors, trash companies , painters , electricians and now we even hire lawn management services to do the mowing that SLR employees have always been able to do and even when our crew picked up the community garbage twice a week with fewer workers . Why doesn't the Board look for ways to trim the budget and spending first and instead of increasing the budget $100. this year they could maybe get by with living within the means of what is more than enough money . If you keep giving more money without first cutting waste then there is never enough money or incentive to operate within your means . Next year I can almost say they will say the budget ''requires'' another $100 or $200 a year increase . It would be a smart move to hire an efficiency consultant along with opening up the books and finding where the money is going that could be cut out first before an increase is ''required'' .

The Water / Sewer Reserve Summary line, the numbers do not seem to add up correctly? Sewer/Water reserve balance: $846,000 (3/31/2014) Sewer/Water reserve funding: $125,000 Sewer/Water cost to replace : $3,000,000+ (3+ million) Sewer/Water add'l funds required: $2,250,000+ (2 1/4+ million)
Question? 1) Why do we keep spending more each year? 2) Why do we keep putting less each year into SLR's Reserves? 3) Why did this trend start in 2010 to the present?
Note: SLR's Sewer Plant Reserves are way under funded. A Failed Sewer Plant will shut down SLR.. If this Failure was to happen in 2014, SLR does not have the money for the replacement cost for a New Sewer Plant. Who is going to Loan SLR $2,250,000 dollars, with all of SLR's unsolved issues???
We can survive with out a couple of buildings, pool, spa, potholes, park internet, but we can not Stay Open With-Out a Water Supply & a Approved Sewer Plant. PERIOD.
We Have A Spending Problem... If I am wrong, please tell me what I am missing?

Maybe the Management Company will finance a loan--or the owner of K C N. BOD will name it "Memorial Wastewater Plant".
With a Covenants expiration lawsuit on the table and possibly a second one--it will be very difficult to get an affordable conventional loan to fund a replacement plant. Without a loan, it will be up to the owners to come up with the Cash:
$2,500,000 divided by 787 lots = $3176.62

Because we need so much money for the poop plant, why don't we get it from the board members--they're all so full of shit, I'm surprised Brookers PooP Pumping hasn't been in here lately. Seriously, we need to recall this board, fire manager immediately, put all future projects on hold and take a serious look at where our money has gone and more importantly where we will need it to go!
