I also saw the utility trailer that SLohA didn't buy in the yard also .
There is plenty of space in the storage lot for these items. The owners must fear having them vandalized such as what happened to one residents RV in storage .

This trailer is still there; has wheels covered and appears to be "stored". Why isn't it in the Storage Lot paying storage fees to SLohA? Anyone know who this belongs to and why it has special privilege to store for free in a locked Maintenance Yard?

Attachment Deleted Attachment Deleted Attachment DeletedNo matter how much we spend to get-r-done we will have to spend MORE $$$ to get the water in the Dog Run Area to flow up hill to get down to the ditch. Great job MANBOD, once again you've shown that not knowing anything about Landscaping backfires.

to the secondhandmillionaire. take heed of the dog run continuing problems with drainage. This was someone idea to take hazardous removed fill from a sewer spill piled up down there for 3 months intermixed with broken sewer pipes and when people complained, spread it all over the dog run for people and dogs to walk thru and track into their homes. Storage lot is underwater (nearly a foot) during a typical big storm in summer. Talk to other owners who had to do expensive repairs to their homes after management "fixed" drainage to route right into and under their homes--look at other drainage work that has been done on Beaverkill to reroute water through a pipe that was placed too high to work and then--done again. Check out the french drain on SD and who knows what is happening around the tennis courts. Look at the deep pond that is created on SBT with a Sm all downpour. The stories are many and continuing on the property. Don't get into a never-ending cycle of fixes with this outfit in the mistaken belief that they know what they are doing. Your problem might have been created by previous "fixes". Get something in writing that they will take responsibility for any future damage caused to your property.

This is what the manager said when the paving was going on, with respect to drainage; it was something like this: "the result of proper paving is good drainage..." I remember those were her words; they came out of her mouth. I guess her idea of proper drainage included flooding people's homes and driveways so as to keep the water off of the roads--but wait--there's "bird baths" all over the roads in here after a big rain storm. When asked about these "bird baths" the manager said, and I quote: "the pavers weren't here to crown the roads." This is the kind of mindless crap we get out of this inept idiot.

It will stop when all this board and manager and management company GO AWAY FOR GOOD...never to be seen in SLR, ever, ever again!
Oh, and install an entirely different group with intelligent, trustworthy people on the NEW board that will do things right. It will surely stop then.

I recall another instance with a drainage issue in SLR that management gave lip service to: my neighbors started having drainage problems on their lot after the new paving was done. They contacted the manager, when she came over to their lot the manager told them that they had to raise their house!
(Knowing the manager's problems with correct homophone usage, I wonder if she meant "raze" instead of "raise.")
