Board Workshop 02-04-14
Projects in the works:
Maintenance Generator hookup. Stwd Elctc calling for the final inspection this week.
Storm drain boxes on the lakefront. 2 are done, two more will be completed this month.
SWFWMD Water Use Permit renewal. The Board will be discussing the bids and choosing a contractor today.
Survey of the parcel of land at SR60 where the SLR sign is located will be discussed by the Board today.
More tennis court repairs due to an abundance of mushroom growth. The Board will be addressing this today.
Future projects:
Replace the sign at SR60. The Sign Committee is reviewing the suggestions submitted and the Board will be addressing the survey needed of the parcel of land at SR60 where the SLR sign is located.
Sewer main and service lateral repairs. We have a 2nd bid to decipher and the information will be sent out to the 3rd bidder this week. The repairs are set to begin in the spring of the 2014-2015 fiscal year.
Repair of the rear wall of the recreation building in the 2014-2015 fiscal year.
Repair of the fence surrounding the Resort and the tennis courts in the 2014-2015 fiscal yr.
Rehabilitation of the interior of the north waste plant in the 2014-2015 fiscal year.
Maintenance items:
The Scwinn Airdyne upright bike in the exercise building has been repaired.
The interior automatic door button for Memorial H all has been installed but still not operational. I have left a message with the contractor.
We have replaced the refrigerator at the beach house as the old one was not cooling properly. If you would like to use the fridge for a function please check out the key from the office. As a courtesy to others please remove all of your belongings from the refrigerator and clean up any spills after your function is over, lock the door and return the key to the office.
Housekeeping items:
The recycle bins have been delivered to all of those who were on the list. If you were never on the list to receive a recycle bin, please call the office and make your request known. We will be happy to drop one on your doorstep or you can pick one up at the office. Your recycle day is Tuesdays. Please continue to use the newspaper recycle bin next to the driving range (it is provided free of charge) and the aluminum can recycle cage next to the waste plant for the Horseshoe club fund raiser if you desire.
Your latest reconciled financials are available at the office for your records.
Your water statements for the final quarter of 2013 have been distributed. If you see any issues with your statement please let the office know so that the situation can be addressed.
