With a proper thinking Management Company the Sewer Laterals would have been done BEFORE the paving. No one should believe that these breaks and blockages occurred AFTER the poor pave over done by T-ucker.
Always the cart before the Horse and get-r-wrong the first time. Give yourselves a big slap on the back manbod for wasting every ones time and money once again!

It took time and great attention to details. Does anyone know the status of the repairs to be made to sewer laterals? I Hayvn't seen any pre-excavation markings on the pavement for cuts yet. I hope this work isn't scheduled for when we have our rainy season, if we have sewer pipes that are leaking now what is the delay? It was imperative that the budget pass to have the money to fix the problem but there doesn't seem to be the same urgency to actually do the work. Makes you wonder if this big dig will start when folks start returning in the fall.

Didn't we just pay for a mapping of all water key boxes? Why wouldn't the water mains be shut of with the isolator valves on the street? That's how its done in the real world, maybe with each unit doing this it may instill a "neighbor helping neighbor" movement!

The Contractor (in his uniform) should knock on the residents door and inform them they will be working on their sewer lateral today, and we will have to cutoff your water supply at your water meter. We will notify you when the repair is complete, and we will also turn your water supply back on when we are finish.
The resident should not have to be involved in the repair process. The advance notice is great, if the repairs stay on schedule.

How is the sewer lateral project coming along? Have they had to dig up any asphalt yet? I would guess the water table is high at this time of year. That was an excuse that was used before, water table to high, will have to wait until Fall/Winter to do repairs. These repairs maybe at a different depth. Just Curious...
