Heck with who is doing our lawns while are trees are getting hacked and attacked. Late last week after normal business hours several people were observed from maintenance and Kay c Ntwerk (including Bb Stieb, Jr.) observing and viewing trees around the antenna overseeing the tennis courts. On Tuesday of this week several very, very large tree extensions (huge branches) were removed from the several trees in a straight line pattern. Then on Wednesday those tree parts were removed from the premises. Ever see work done that quickly or quietly? Me neither.

Now go look at the hacked trees next to the tennis courts that lost major parts producing a straight line effect(possibly for a clear signal for internet access by Kay c Ntwerk). This cutting job was done Tuesday of this week and the debris as removed Wednesday. All this followed an after business hours meeting was observed by others late last week between maintenance and Bb Stieb, Jr. and crew assessing the antenna near the tennis courts. Coincident? I think not.

I moved the posts to their own thread under "Internet"; this will help organize these kinds of activities which I bet a certain lady lawyer will be noting for future discussion.

There wasn't much clearance there to get equipment back there to extricate the big pile of chopped up tennis court pieces as well as the large pile of leaves that were cleared to facilitate Fun Day & parties/picnics, etc. That seems more logical to me; however, gaining a better internet signal may have also been the goal.

According to the Rule Book that tower should not be there in the first place.

The SLR Rule Book's cover is now beige in color, which is neutral. So does that also apply to the rules? Maybe they trimmed back the trees to let more sunlight shine on the tennis courts.

Since that tree trimming company got rid of the tree limbs so quickly, maybe they should hire them to pick up that pile of broken tennis court pieces and the huge pile of leaves.
I bet those two piles of debris will be there all Summer long...

I do believe someone or something hacked the fiber optic cable for Kay c-Nets Wi-Fi feed. Rumor has, it will be down until Tuesday afternoon. This is the Pool Talk topic for today... ;-(

I wonder....does T-ucker also dabble in Fiber Optic Cable Repair???

I wonder how long it will be before manager blames residents for this "hacked" WiFi cable.
Everyone should be reminded that when contractors redoing maintenance's office dumped drywall in the old recycle bins, manager blamed residents for doing this. Yes she did.
Then there was the letters to Q.W. cul-de-sac residents from the manager, who were blamed for the large ruts in the new pavement that were clearly being made by the GARBAGE TRUCK! (we know it was them--the wheel base was far too long for ANY passenger vehicles!)
Then there was the manager blaming residents once again for cut A/C wiring at the clubhouse--this could only have been done by someone who knew the electrical systems as well as having the key to the door that had the FUSE PANEL behind it--therefore it was done by an electrical contractor and/or our maintenance dept. They were the only ones to have had access.
Then there was the blame of vandalism by the manager and board against a woman walking her dog at night--in reality, there was NO vandalism done at all, no evidence, no pictures, no police were called--know why--NO VANDALISM WAS EVER DONE BY THIS PERSON. The only crime committed was the board and security stalking this woman at night.
It was all FICTIOUS BLAME by an idiot manager and idiots on the board who do NOT know any better--and never will.
Just another note here--when the police came in to investigate the break-in of the shed in the storage lot, the manager told the officer(s) that "it was broken into so "they" could get money for drugs." This idiotic, asinine statement by mange was also quickly proven WRONG when it was found out that a resident set up this "break-in" for the insurance $$$.
There's just no end to the bullshit stories they make up, however, when it comes to telling the truth, they come up far short--in all reality, they simply can't do it. Instead, they must run to the attorney to figure out how to interpret our CC & R's, By-Laws and applicable HOA Florida Statutes.

Y'ALL NEED TO GO TO SPRINT STORE, GET A 4G MIFI UNIT THAT'S ABOUT 4 INCHES LONG, 2.5 INCHES WIDE AND ALMOST AN INCH TALL, AND IT'S SECURE.
YOUR CONTRACT IS 2-YEARS AT JUST UNDER $50/MO. AND THAT'S WITH 6 GIGS OF USAGE WHICH IS A LOT MORE THAN ANY ONE COULD POSSIBLY USE, AND IT'S FAST, FASTER, FASTEST INTERNET I'VE EVER SEEN AND IT'S SECURE.
THIS TRULY IS THE INTERNET WE'VE BEEN WAITING FOR--SKIP MR. BRAND X, SKIP DISH INTERNET--THEY AREN'T EVEN OUT HERE--ALTHOUGH THEIR TV COMMERCIAL TELLS YOU THEY ARE "EVERYWHERE" WHEN THEY ARE NOT.
NO NEED TO PURCHASE ANTENNAS, BRICKS, OR WIRING; AND: NOBODY GETS INTO YOUR COMPUTER TO "DUMB IT DOWN" AND POSSIBLY BLOWING IT UP--(YES, FOLKS, IT'S HAPPENED IN HERE WITH MR. BRAND X's INTERNET SVCS.)
FOR THE MONEY, THIS IS THE BEST THING YOU CAN GET--AND--IT'S PORTABLE, USE ON THE ROAD OR IN YOUR HOME--AND RELIABLE! IT'S ALSO SECURE--YOU DO NOT GET A SECURE INTERNET CONNECTION W/MR STOB.

Today I woke up and>>>>no internet with my coffee! I went for my smartphone--but I lost data on my smartphone, too! It's an emergency situation so I called Tech Support. But, alas--I could hear them but they could not hear me. However, they got my call and texted me that they wanted to be of service. That was comforting in an "I've fallen and I can't get up" kind of way. I texted them back and did troubleshooting by text which was not that bad thanks to the speech to text app. What a circus! I had it configured on "either/or" signal--i.e. either the phone data or any wifi signal flying around. When the Kay c N signal went kaput, my smartphone got confused. This is one reason why seniors and smartphones are not a good mix.
But I digress. Having just ditched a contract on voice/data, I am not eager to jump back into another contract. The Sprint plan sounds like a good one to look into once I get my nerve back. There were plenty of jobs to do in preparation for leaving Florida for the summer. The sofa, chairs and rugs got steam-cleaned, floors cleaned and Cassie got a complete haircut. I ought to declare a day a month as internet-free to get stuff done!
Obviously, the K C signal is back so I am having an internet "all you can eat" buffet.
