The Shadow just reported in that the resident at 8 Silversides had a trailer on the property illegally removed by XXXXXX during the wee hours of the morning. How is it that with expired Covenants someone XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXx will trespass on YOUR PRIVATE PROPERTY and remove items. Criminal acts that must be accounted for. LOCK YOUR CARS, DOORS, CHAIN UP YOUR BIKES, BOATS AND GOLF CARTS. NOTHING IS SACRED. The officer answering the police call even stated: I am sure glad I don't live in here".
That is the outside view of a once nice, peaceful place. XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

The Resident should file a police report of trespass and theft. There is NO CIRCUMSTANCE--Covenants or Not--that a sociopathic element in the park can enter your private property and take your property into their possession.
This is a criminal act and should be treated seriously by the aggrieved Resident and the police.
Next question--was this a coordinated effort to harass or an independent act?

This is crazy, there has to be more to the story. Maybe the Trailer was repossess by the lien holder for non-payment. I know we have bizarre things that happen only in SLR, but a piece of the puzzle seems to be missing.

What's missing is the truth about what happened.

All of this Bizarre Behavior started in 2010. This "Group in Charge" & The Management Co. in SLohA needs real change.. Or that is "All We Will Have is Pocket Change"... Maybe I have the Cart Before The Horse, by assuming who was responsibly for this action taken against a resident. Time will tell, it may even make The Managers Report, I mean like she stated someone is Stealing Hand Soap. Just maybe that more residents are washing their hands, good hygiene practice.. ONLY IN SLR !!!

There is much more to this story. The additional facts that are known at this time is the Mamager admitted to another owner (a past BOD director) that she caused the capture of the owner's equipment and relocated it because it had no current valid registration. Presumably, at least one more person was involved who physically captured the property. Additionally, a search of the common property yielded no sign of the equipment so it may be behind closed doors or off property.
A supplemental police report will be filed this morning and an attorney has been contacted.

Additional facts: It is now known that the person capturing the equipment, Jhn Crmee, was ordered to do so by the Mamager. The equipment was locked in the Maintenance Yard and was returned to the owner, as ordered by the Mamager, this morning.
The Polk County Sheriff was summoned for a second time by the Owner and a report was made. The Owner complained of TRESPASS and GRAND THEFT. It will be available in a week or so. The owner also reported that, although a report was made the night before, it was torn up by the officer and proclaimed to be a "civil matter".
The attorney has been contacted and awaits the police report.
The owner has agreed to provide the forum with a complete first-person summary of all events.
As reported, the Sheriff expressed consternation at the numbers of calls to S-bag and noted that the common denominator in the middle of the drama was...the Mamager. Officer Arndt stated he would be speaking with...the Mamager about this pattern.
I am further told that Mamager was "sick" and was told to GO HOME by a group consensus, encouraged by Bb Lply, at this morning's KK. It was observed that it was not a friendly group "GO HOME".

This behavior by our Manager is unacceptable, our BOD's need to take the appropriate action and ask for her immediate resignation as SLohA's Manager. If this Group does not take any action, the Board of Directors are being negligent and also need to step down. We have 2 Problems, the Sick Manager and the Do-Nothing Board. Three current Board of Directors are running for 3 yr. terms. Now that would be one big mistake, if they are re-elected. SLohA's needs some BOD's with common sense. We have large problems in SLohA, and the Present Leadership's track record is very poor....

This is Jhn's story to tell, but most people who know him are sympathetic to his difficult situational decisions as relates to his need for employment.
This must be agonizing for Jhn and I hope that someone on this board has the heart and courage to stop this manager from further destruction of this community and placing owners in untenable and dangerous positions.
