"2015 SLohA's Annual Meeting Agenda"

There's only one thing missing from this Agenda; it is the ONLY meeting of the year that actually BELONGS to the Owners.  BOD should call the meeting and then turn it over to an Owner.  Owners should be conducting the remainder of this meeting after the Election results are announced and any other business dispensed with. 

The intent of an MEMBER MEETING is a gathering by and for the MEMBERS.  It is to elect Directors and to discuss the business of the Association. (By contrast, the purpose of a BOD meeting is to conduct the business of the association; however, Association business can be conducted at an Annual Meeting.)

(The fact that SLohA does not follow its own Bylaws with reference to the conduct of Election of Officers is a side issue-another subject that has been discussed before.  The Bylaws require a quorum of members in attendance to actually validate Voting Certificates, complete and count Ballots AT the Meeting!)

A Member/Owner should be "in charge" of facilitating discussion at the Annual Member Meeting---not BOD.

At least BOD didn't ADJOURN the Annual Member Meeting prior to a MEMBER having a comment at the conclusion of BOD's business agenda!
