SNAP, S-bag Neighbor Assistance Project, was announced at the special MRTA Seminar on January 15, 2015. This meeting was the first owner-generated meeting featuring a critical topic of interest to ALL Members. The guest presenter was an attorney; costs of the meeting were supported by SNAP, in keeping with its vision to provide legal and educational services to all SLohA Members.

“Neighbors helping Neighbors”
S-bag Neighbor Assistance Project (SNAP) is a privately funded, not-for-profit corporation created by Saddlebaggers to help empower and assist neighbors. Details can be found on its website: snap.freeforums.net . Its goals are two-fold:
LEGAL : Provide access to low- or no-cost legal consultation regarding issues involving the S-bag community. It will also support communications enabling residents’ concerns to be addressed (such as this MRTA Seminar). Legal Services will be administered by S u e Tg, President and referred to Frd O’Neal, Esq., Director and Legal Counsel.
PERSONAL SERVICE : Via The Angel’s Grace (TAG), no- and low-cost personal assistance may be accessed in times of need or in an emergency. (Examples: stump painting, tree trimming, shopping). It will be chaired by Lra Tmyk and Virginia (Gngr) Astn who will coordinate requests for help to Volunteer Responders (SNAP’RS).
An ongoing project is “in the works” and will be announced shortly on the corporate website SNAP .
Tax deductible donations from Saddlebaggers are encouraged. There is a PayPal Button on the website for this purpose. We also need SNAP’RS to volunteer their unique services and this will be coordinated by Directors. More information is available on the SNAP website snap.freeforums.net .
