Waste plant repairs to begin late this month.
New maintenance employee will be starting week ending 4/24
Have obtained 2 quotes for tree trimming and removal, waiting on D&D tree service to provide a 3rd quote.
Researching long term solution to Blue Quill lift station problems.
Housekeeping items:
I would like to ask everyone to please be mindful of what you flush down the toilet and pour down your drains. Koffee Klatch update 04-20-15
Good morning,
I hope you all had a great weekend, and ready to have another great week at SLR!
Another reminder that if you are leaving for the summer, check in at the office and let us know. Don't forget to pay your storage.
The water statements will be going out this Friday.
I'd like to thank The communications committee for their hard work in keeping the community informed about what is going on in SLR. Tummy Blkbrn has informed me she will be posting reports and minutes on the bulletin board for those who may have missed Koffee Klatch or the Board meetings.
Work has begun on the waste plant to rehab the interior surfaces of the plant. This is a big project and needed to be undertaken to ensure the structure lasts for years to come. I'd like to thank Jhn and the maintenance staff for the hard work they have put into preparing for the project and the work they will be putting in the next few months to complete it.
One thing I would like to ask of everyone is to be mindful of what you put down the drain. Please do not flush things like rubber gloves, or pour large amounts of grease down the drain as the sewage system is not designed to handle these things. Mechanical failures due to these things cost us all in the long run.
Next Week we will be taking measurements at the Tennis court to make sure it is not warping further than it already has, and will be contacting Varsity courts to make the necessary repairs. Once I have a schedule for repairs I will update everyone.
Thank you and have a great week!
