Managers' Report : Hello and Good morning everyone. I hope you all had a Great weekend!
As you are aware EESI has been working on the gate valves for the water system. The purpose of this is so that in the event Maintenance has to be done on the water system in the future it will effect as little of the park as possible. In the past relatively minor shut downs would lead to large portions of the park being shut down since the water system isn't isolated.
The work was planned to take place over 3 days, and be completed last Thursday. However in doing the work they came across some unmapped water lines which needed to be traced. They are finished working on the water system and the valves have been replaced so there will be no more water pressure interruptions. Now they are pouring concrete and repairing the roads that were dug up to access the valves.
The boil water notice will remain in effect however until we receive the water quality test results back which SHOULD be tomorrow afternoon. We will send out a phonevite as soon as the results are in. We appreciate everyone's patience and hope you all understand the need to do this over the summer vs having these issues with a full park in the winter.
We have been experiencing interruptions in our phone service through Verizon frequently this past month. As a result we have contacted the technology committee to look into our options regarding a backup system to insure you have an uninterrupted line to the front office. They will attempt to have a recommendation ready by the next Board of Directors meeting.
Maintenance is continuing trimming back overgrowth from the roadways this week to make sure there are no overhanging branches obstructing the roads.
I hope you all have a great week! Thank you.
