From BOD Minutes Oct 14, 2015:
Tummy wants to know owners' opinions on this important matter of noise pollution at the pool:
THE POLL QUESTION:
Should a rule be made that Owners must wear earbuds/phones while listing to personal music at pool to protect all poolgoers from overhearing their music?
(You have to click on the Blue Thread above to read and access the Poll!)
An interesting contrast in value judgements:

If the BOD makes a rule on every little aspect of life in SLR, no one will want to live here. Let's allow space for individuality and enjoyment. Don't be so darn picky, folks.

Here is alternative: Simply have 2 or 3 days a week during Specific hours when music would be allowed. Say, Wednesdays and Fridays between 10 AM and 4 PM. There could be a sign - up sheet available on a weekly basis and perhaps even suggestions on the style and selections. I for one have been enjoying the music being provided right now.

It's great to hear owners are thinking about this important issue!
Here's another suggestion. Install a bank of jukeboxes with different types of music for owners to Pay to Play! Owners will purchase the jukeboxes sight unseen from the Reserve Fund, but the jukeboxes and amplified speakers installed poolside will be owned entirely by Stmbug Ixx Inc to manage the mp3 tunes and empty the token boxes.
Owners will NOT BE PERMITTED TO COMPETE by listening to their own music and golfcartparades and hotdog socials will be planned to get this new rule passed!
Owners will insure the jukeboxes from their assessments, keep them clean using SLR Housekeeping staff, and safe under a new roof paid for, of course, by the owners. Of course, Owners will pay for a weekly maintenance contract to minimize the deleterious effects of humidity and chlorinated pool water. The coins to insert in the jukeboxes will be gold proprietary tokens with Stmbug Ixx's likeness engraved on the head of each token. These tokens will have to be obtained from a coin-changing machine-- also purchased, insured, secured by SLR Security and stab cameras, and maintained by the owners.
Stmbug Ixx Inc will establish a fair price to play music, keep the tokens stocked and empty the dollars.

Another Important Issue... New residents on Beaverkill placed a new double wide unit on their lot. Chap was on the sight, and told the new residents that the present shed on the property was 1 1/2 inches to close to the property line and it needed to be moved.
I say just move the lot and leave the shed in place.....

Chap needs to keep his nose out of other people's business. If he continues on this track, he is going to get SLohA sued again by an angry owner with an attorney. And put his own CAM license in jeopardy...
