Has anyone wondered why the new storage building has been neglected for maintenance? I see weeds over 2' tall in the rain gutter, untrimmed tree branches not only growing through the chain link fence, but also overhead in the power lines.
I guess that we owners will foot the bill in a few more years to replace the back wall of the building to the tune of 20-30 thousand dollars and then replace the chain link fence for around 10 thousand dollars. I am unsure what the Elctc company will charge us for tree trimming around the power lines but my guess is around 6 to 10 thousand dollars.
I wonder how this is responsible management when our own employees could do most of this work and at a reasonable rate compared to a total wall replacement along with the fencing from contractors that in the past have done sub standard work.
On the last financial statement, i see that management is enjoying a "slight increase", i just don't see where management deserves an increase when things are neglected and more and more waste of our funds is evident.
I noticed that all the street markings are freshly painted, trees are trimmed and/or removed and all in preparation for the return of the snowbirds, so why is the storage building not on the list? Do owners have to pick up the slack that management seems to overlook just to save owners 10s of thousands of dollars in the near future? What are they (management) doing? They are hired on to manage and maintain our park but fall short of being complete.
I truly believe we Saddlebaggers deserve better, there must be other management companies out there that will know how to do what they are hired on for. I think it is time for a change. Does anyone care? Lets all just vote for higher fees for less maintenance and more unwinnable lawsuits.....that is what we have been getting with this management company for that past few years.
I will donate my time to try and cut some brush from the fence behind the storage building, lets see how long it takes management to haul it away.........
