Missed Opportunity

Last night Joe and Bb on Wood Ruff Way had a wonderful Christmas Party with great food and music and laughter. The attendants were a mixture of new and old residents and, of course the neighbors on Wood Ruff Way. It was a joyous affair where folks were getting to know each other and the din of talking was high on the decibel chart. However, a few of the  neighbors of WW would not enter the circle of chairs and mix and mingle, but remained in a clump outside the main part of the boy's party. The boys worked so hard to make this event a success, and their own neighbors did not hold them in high enough esteem to mingle and make the party a total success. They isolated themselves and did not use that opportunity to mend fences while, the people they dislike were working very hard to honor their hosts and let bygones go on their way. Healing of the past can only begin when people are willing to open their hearts.
