Changing water filter cartridge in fridge
Transportation of spouse to hospital
Donation of golf cart tire/loan of jack to neighbor
Assistance to 2 Baggers to file for Homestead Exemption including transportation to Bartow
Implementation of Personal Shopping Service
Clean clock of neighbor with donation of angle broom
Gift of holiday food/supplies to neighbor
22 "Welcome to S-bag Letters" to new Bag owners
Thanks to volunteers Lra Tmyk, Gngr Astn, Jm Grnt and Jm Ath, many neighbors have received services from SNAP--some on an emergency basis! SNAP has far surpassed its original mission of legal support through the concept and implementation of a charity, "Angel's Grace"--run by Lra and Gngr.
Lra & Gngr are "boots on the ground" and have an uncanny ability to find neighbors in need and call out for helpers. Jm Grnt has been especially responsive to many ladies needing help with their autos and carts and is able to perform a multitude of miracles. Jm Ath transported a Bagger to Bartow to file a homestead exemption, saving the family hundreds of dollars in taxes. Others helped with flyer distribution within the park. We welcome volunteers and hope to expand charitable services in 2016.
Of course, S u e Tg would like nothing more than to see the need for legal services go away but until that happy day, will use the fund to benefit Baggers who have HOA questions/issues. Owners who desire assistance with regard to an SLohA matter can call on SNAP and ask about "Matching Dollars" to help offset cost of professional consultation. This unique service is available because SNAP has retained an HOA attorney who is very familiar with SLohA governing documents.
SNAP has been "almost" self-supporting through private donations in 2015. Administrators and volunteers accept no compensation for arranging or providing services. The cost of the Land Mod Appeal has not yet been met through donations. However, all other outlays have been recouped through private donations. SNAP has one donor who has set up a recurring monthly payment! Thank you to all who have hit my DONATE BUTTON on the top right Home Page of the Forum.
SNAP wishes all Saddlebaggers a healthy, happy and litigation-free 2016!
