I have a question, are SLR employees still cutting the grass in our common areas or has the Lawn Maintenance been given to an Outside Contractor? I am just curious, I thought I remember reading something this past Summer, that an outside Contractor was given the Lawn Care Job. Any Info? Yes, Yes, I do know that the grass is Green, Color-Blind.

Ill tell you who NOT to hire--B Mxxxxx--he uses too much weed killer and winds up killing your fruit and oak trees along with your lawn grass; the little money you think you are saving now will wind up costing you later on to replace dead trees. We know, we didn't hire him and he killed ours for free.

Not only does it
1.kill lawn and trees,
it seeps into the groundwater and
2. fouls our lake and our freshwater aquifer (the invisible consequences of polluting with herbicides and pesticides or a leaking wastewater plant).

The tennis courts are not fixed, the pile of leaves under the oaks are still there and still a fire hazard, the docks do not have the promised ladders, AND now management is spending our money to put sprinklers in the dog park. Come on management get a grip, better yet, become smart you are throwing away SLR members money. Where is the justification?

I think it would be in the best interest's of keeping the cart behind the horse to have the piles of debris(concrete chunks/asphalt & rock hauled away from the area at the end of the Dog Run by the mulch pile.
Makes the most sense to get that stuff gone before soaking the ground with water and having large ruts as a result of waiting.....just sayin
FYI: have you seen the overgrown backyard @ 32STN? (grove side) The weeds are 4 feet tall!!!

(grove side) The weeds are 4 feet tall!!! There is also plenty of broken up concrete in the Maintenance Yard behind and around the building. This is a hazard and a trip and fall problem and it looks bad. Keeping a clean work space is paramount to safety and it shows good organization.
These concrete chunks have not been moved in more than a year. Also take a look at our Maint. Yard fence behind the Water Tank, you can see that once the new generator was installed the fence was never correctly mended and left in a sloppy state of disrepair as if that's good enough.
Open up that fence and bring all the concrete chunks out with the backhoe or truck and trailer then fix the fence right. Some workers in SLR don't take much pride in their work and should be gone.

You've got to be kidding!?! I'm just going to have to take a trip up there later on to see the void. What they really need to do is keep on top of that leaf problem there and remove leaves more than just once in a blue moon--besides they make good mulch and removing those leaves is a big safety issue--fire-wise and they're downright slippery, as well, when you're walking on them.
I guess all the razzing they got on this forum made them get off their asses and do it.
Next, they need to remove the tennis court chunks as well. It just looks bad and there is really NO reason for that pile of debris to continue to sit there which is more out in the open and visible; you'd think they would have gotten rid of that stuff immediately. Oh, but, wait, they'll just say it's on their schedule, not ours!

How To Slowly Kill a Tree: Pile Debris over the Tree's Root System. If left in place, it will cause a slow death... Another way to kill your trees (and your *neighbors) is to hire B ob M***** to do your yard. He'll spray everything with Round UP and before you know it your once perfect Valencia orange tree and your Pink Grapefruit trees will be DEAD . *I am the neighbor who had my trees destroyed by Bb's Agent Orange Defoliant Service and I never hired him to do so. And in 5 years no admission or offer to replace them.
Praise the Lord Mr. Bo b M*****.

Greg is a good worker, diligent. Always on time from what I saw and was always busy working, not busy looking like he was working. I can only guess that he wouldn't support the managers lies and deranged attacks on residents and to her thats cause enough for termination.
JMO, I could be mistaken.....

Damn, That will teach um !!! Must of Got Caught Working. That makes the foreman look bad. The problem is the wrong employee always has to hit the road. I would maybe get some legal advice, our leaders sometimes do things for all of the wrong reasons. Seek Help..

He would have to hire and retain a lawyer and that costs $$$ up front--nothing is free, but, if his lawyer were to be able to prove he was fired wrongly, then he would win his case, and SLohA owners pay again--for his legal fees and his settlement--just as with another employee who was wrongly fired by this same manager 3 years ago.

Why are they clearing the trees/brush at the back-side of the Lagoon? Also a cleared area to the Lagoon at the Flyer's Club Field. Do we have a New Power Boat Club, using the Lagoon's waterway?
Thanks for any info. Gusto
