Last week the head Librarian gave permission to a fellow resident to go ahead and consolodate the puzzle/game area and allow for a 24/7 book lending library. A week before at KK management announced that it would NOT interfere with what the clubs were doing and they could do what they wanted. On Monday the head Librarian donated some books for the new 24/7 library. That evening three members of S-bag gathered to put wood shelves on top of the wire racks and begin establishing the library. Alas. someone in the building playing bridge began getting aggressive and pushy and started taking pictures with her phone yelling: "I don't like what you are doing". The next morning Miss M. e. l. was seen storming over after the short board meeting with boxes in hand and removed the books to the security van. It was announced that this "new" club activity was not sanctioned by BOTH he board and management and that the puzzle room would be only open during library hours. What about POKER hours?

The Tail Needs To Wag The Dog !!! Does that mean the only rooms in the New Annex, not presently locked, are the restrooms? What a waste !!!

This show of force is --just a show of force by the 18-ball swinging Mange.
Someday people will wake up and take back the property from this band of thieves who have not only robbed this place of its park-like setting by allowing a member to install huge ugly towers all over the place, cutting down beautiful oaks at the behest of the private enterprise to enhance its signals, capture rooms in common buildings with locked, privately-owned business equipment housed there, planted stupid signs with its made-up rules attempting to limit contract use of common areas and are now retaliating against owners by refusing admittance to common buildings to read some books and put puzzles together. What next-jack-booted security at the entrance collecting gate fees to fund the budgets that owners are not permitted to see?
Poker? Oh please you KNOW the rules don't apply to MANBOD and their cronies!

Well, then, next, they will probably lock the restrooms as well--and the golden keys to the crapper will only be available to MANBOD.

This manager acts like this entire park belongs to her when it DOES NOT--RESIDENTS COLLECTIVELY OWN EVERYTHING IN HERE!
Residents that have stood up to this manager for rights they know they have get her vindictive, nasty retaliation.
That is what has happened in SLR, time and again for the last few years now, and the BOD will NOT back up the resident(s) even though they are in the right.

Does anyone know which two hours and on what day the library is open?
Is it posted inside the new annex or ? There's only been mention of it open 2 hours per week--but which two?
Because of the limited time this building,(that RESIDENTS paid for), is open, it would be nice to have it posted somewhere.
I don't believe for one second that MANBOD has the right to limit and/or restrict entirely our rights to our property, and then not give any reason(s) whatsoever for doing so.
This is wrong and residents need to take back our property rights!

If ml is citing Regulation 5 then I ask the question: "Is the poker group a certified and approved by the Board and Management club?" If not why then do they have access to that room?

Well at kk this morning Miss ML stated that she had workers out looking for missing puzzles. They found some. Too bad that those puzzles ALL had missing pieces. Sort of like the management?

Another fabrication. Missing puzzles indeed. That's the best she can do? Details?--there are none--but she will make some up on the spur of the moment if cH allenged. Does anyone take Mange seriously (except the employed?).
MANBOD does this over and over--lies to try to create problems where there are none--except the ones they fabricate and then blame others for. Like the Rules signs, crazed speed-freaks, fire-bird poo on the dock, sand in the bathrooms, marred up glass on Bathhouse #2 BB, a screw in a washing machine tub, a broken thermostat, grease in drains, damaged spycams. Like cut wiring... and on and on.
Who will IT blame the false filing of Rules on? Guesses?

Just informed that the "puzzles" BELONG TO S-bag. Funny how items donated for enjoyment of others and not stamped "property of" BELONGS to management and the board. Does that mean if a concert is "donated" that management can go pull the plug if they don't like the music. SICK. SICK. SICK.

Speaking of the Annex, this is for DB. Either take your poker table out of the annex puzzle room, or let the members use it. Also, you may not have a private poker game in the annex, the rooms are public and not for private individuals - that is what homes are for. Since Ml will not tell you to do this, I will. A member of the SLohA.

Exactly what is this New $400,000 plus Bldg. used for? How many residents does it serve? Like, all of the doors are locked. You can use the Ladies & Men's Restrooms. It has one large room for what? It kind of reminds me of the new Gazebo, it looks OK, but it is never used and it is fenced off. Just like all of the locked doors to the rooms in the annex, looks OK, but you can not use them. What a waste of the Members money... ($400,000.00 plus expense). One day residents will wake-up and say "What The Hell Happened", "Please Show Us The Money"

I'm still trying to figure out when the library is open, anyone know? Or did they shut the library down altogether?
Still wondering...

Just use the table--you don't need anyone's permission. It's common equipment housed on common property for the common use of the commoners as well as the pompous and self-ordained elite among us.
If you could only get to it without storming the gates...!

NO, there is no hope for these liars and thieves.
Evidently, now they want resident(s) to become mailmen!
Uh, next time--use a stamp for that, you idiots
